Normal service period / सामान्य अवधि
The selected normal service-retention period is three years from the relevant record or account event, subject to backups and operational deletion cycles.
Legal exceptions / कानूनी अपवाद
Accounting, GST, tax, payment, audit, fraud-prevention, dispute and security records may need to remain longer where Indian law, a lawful request or an unresolved claim requires it. Therefore the three-year preference is not a promise to erase records that must legally be preserved.
Deletion and backups / हटाना और बैकअप
When retention ends, eligible data is deleted or anonymised through controlled processes. Residual encrypted backups expire on their normal rotation and are not restored for ordinary business use after deletion.
